Jon Walker is SYHA’s Programme Lead of Development & Asset Strategy. With 20 years of experience working in an improvement capacity across commercial construction, water engineering and manufacturing Jon is an advocate of the circular economy, sustainable design and social gain. He has also invented and developed an award winning recycling unit that stimulates social change.
Jon is currently leading SYHA’s Development team into the new era of the ‘SYHA Home’; one that enhances wellbeing, reduces operating costs and carbon production, connects with nature through biophilic design and supports SYHA’s financial model. He leads SYHA’s collaboration with the University of Sheffield’s architecture department.
